I think you are being a bit pessimistic Mark, there has been loads of interesting posts, especially the projects sections, they have been an inspiration, most interesting.

I visit the forum most days and always find plenty to interest me, its a great place.

You need to stand a take a bow, or pehaps a stoop at your age.....

Abolutely. It's great to see a forum where the information received is accurate and correct. I've learnt a great deal about the earlier Minis. I thought I had a good grasp before joining the forum - how mistaken I was! lol.

This forum is second to none, it is the only web site of any sort that I visit regularly.
Although I didn't contribute recently, I was checking and learning almost everyday, and I feel my modest knowledge is growing fast thanks to you all. Plus it is friendly - and good fun - even for us froggies, which is invaluable !!

It may seem quieter at the moment, but with spring already here, I guess we all try to put our car back on the road, or for those lucky - or more courageous this winter - enjoy using our Minis. For myself, these last three months also correspond to a increase in business, which is not bad even if looking still fragile ...

Yes it is a fantastic site, with a wealth of info. I have spent hours reading different sections of the site, it has turned into an addiction! I think i am on a least once a day.

Thanks for all the kind comments folks, but how the forum runs has very little to do with me at all. Its down to the input made by the members.

I would like to thank everyone who contributes & to all those lurkers, I would say . . . Go on pop your cherry, we won't bite!

I am however locking this thread now as I never take compliments very well. . . . .

And fear that the inevitable backlash will follow soon
