Yes wet all day. 6 Minis locked out the first three rows of the grid and then it was an all Mini podium.
It was very very wet at the Craner Curves in the morning!!!!!!!! This is Tom Bell on the way to grabbing pole, obviously not on the lap that included this 360 though.

That's actually Jo Ferguson as its 144 . He was on pole but it wouldn't start for the race. My heart went out to him as he's sat there and his mate attempting to push start it going uphill slightly. Only one light + indicator working and his transponder wasn't working so one wonders of it was electrics
Yes , helluva Mini day out , even my rear parcel shelf had its own special pool. Steam came out off the exhaust as you went through the rivers in practice. Good start meant I was clear of the pack and then just keep it clean . I could hear Whizzo saying "just squeeze the brake pedal" all the time . Bugger won't go away even now...

I originally had this down on my list of races this year, but in the end couldn't go (still haven't mended the impact damage from Brands) and I'm reasonably glad we missed it !
Too much racing in the rain... Gertie prefers sunshine.
