I can finally claim to have a world genuine first in something
Turned away two Pikeys collecting scrap, but they decided to help themselves to the wheels off Hedgy

It now has no wheels

Taken a couple of months ago

Yes! And there are some very cool stories behind it. I interviewed the chap who built/designed the thing and he is quite a character who was BMC Works manager for Canada at one time. His cars - there were two different derivatives that he did - will be featured in Maximum Mini 3!

So, if anyone buys the status chassis on Ebay I'll happily sharpen my crayons and design a nice body for it......

£50 so far. If I wasn't already selling the Yimkin chassis as I've to much on at the moment (just bought a 1960 class 4 kart!) I'd have it in a minute. I'm thinking open sports racing style Unipower / Auriga type ?

By the way, talking of Plastic Fantastics, Bryan Purves is selling the Don Parker Nimbus special 'TOY 711' , if anyone's interested.

Bryan sells all the good stuff.

(Guess where I bought the Coldwell)

The Nimbus is an interesting wee car, though I'm not sure it's the prettiest use of the GSM delta body. Interestingly, Design guru Gordon Murray owned a GSM delta until just a couple of years ago
