Three Sisters Circuit resurfaced & open again

Post by GeorgeA »

""The recently resurfaced Three Sisters Circuit in Wigan is under new management and has a packed season ahead, including not only kart events but also club rallies.""

"As the revived circuit expands, there are opportunities for clubs and groups looking to operate there. The new management team is particularly interested in meeting those with experience of operating a rally, race or bike school. Interested parties can contact Chris Pullman, Circuit Director, on 01942 719 030."

That looks like a fun circuit . Lots of alternative layouts possible, with different combinations of corners 8-) 8-)

Done a few evens there in the early 90s and I'm thinking of organising a Mini only sprint event there. :-) They have an open day there on May 7th so hope to pop along.

Dug some old photos out, these were all taken at Three Sisters in the mid 90s, featuring me, Andy Sheldon, Mick Brough, Dave Archer, Geoff Arnold, Chris Tindall, Sid Ormrod, Dave West will have been there and John Marsden amongst others, Mark F possibly. Happy Days!

No the roof was OK, but it looked more like the Outspan Orange Mini when I'd finished knocking all the corners off it. . It was rebuilt from scratch and was finished last year!
