She was advertised on another forum looking very sorry for herself all the way over in Italy, I live in Ireland [emoji41] after a lot of messaging paypalling bank transfers WhatsApp and Facebook messages a plan was put into place, thanks to a good guy she had a trip across Europe , Italy Switzerland Holland France Uk and Ireland she finally arrived with me last a couple months ago , it’s very solid being undersealed from the factory but unfortunately the roof skin needs replacing due to a purgalor roof falling on her during her 20 odd years in storage, no major plans as of yet I’d say convert to dry suspension, cooper brakes and a roof skin and take from there [emoji41]
Enjoy the photos I’ve a few extras to go with it too
What a fantastic project and very original, it even still has the sardine tin clips on the top hose! Over the years I've restored a 1300 Export and a MK1/2 crossover model, the differences between the Italian and UK built cars is mind boggling and will keep you busy for years. If you take anything off the car don't throw it away, 95% of the parts used are unique to Innocenti Minis and getting harder and harder to find.
Are the wheels date stamped under the hubcaps, month/year? Does it have the 12G295 Cooper head?

I’m not sure about the date stamp on the wheels or the head it is very original indeed, it’s covereed up until I decide what to do with it, it’s probably one of the most original minis I’ve ever owned and even requiring a roof skin probably one of the best shells
There is also an very RARE steering wheel lock on the steering wheel collum.
A friend of mine has one for sale, it's on the for sale section on this forum.

It always amazed me that given how strike prone and unproductive Longbridge was, why Innocenti couldn't tool up for RHD and fire a few thousand of these across in the seventies. The Cooper 1300 - to my mind better than anything Longbridge made - would have been a real hit here. The Mini was still an untapped goldmine in the seventies and BL just didn't realise it.

Idiots.
Yes considering the finish of the innocenti body wise they would have outlived a lot of cars that have gone to rust heaven
unfortunately carello lenses are expensive, my N/S rear was broken in transit along with the plastic battery cover but luckily i could source used units from the guy i bought the car from....
7.5” brake kit purchased too they’ll be refurbished with new bearings, ball joints etc also blasted and painted, pads are M1144 and fairly new as are the braided hoses
Photos of the roof, I’m trying to work out if feasible to repair or replace, the rest of it is so original with just age related marks, I love the Patina of the whole thing as is
