Hello,
Forgive me I'm new. Just a few questions regarding wheels. The standard 4.5" cooper rims will clear discs and fit within the arches, correct? The reverse rims are deeper and will only clear arches when drum brakes are fitted? Reverse rims on a disc brake car would stick out quite a lot, right? I have 5" minilite style rims, discs front and spaced rear and they stick out about 1". I was hoping to find a set of wheels that would not stick out, which would rule out reverse rims. What are the chances of finding a set of standard 4.5's? Thanks in advance for clarifying this for me. Cheers,
Oh, I'd be happy to swap my 5x10's for something that fits in my arches.

I think that with the S brake set up you will be limited to what wheels you can use without using arches.
The LP 883 S 4 1/2 are no problem. The other choices are rose petals, Minilife 4 1/2 Minilites.
There maybe some more choices out there.

Minispares do replica 4.5"x10" steel wheels in both OEW and silver. By the time you find a set of originals and have them repainted/powerder coated you might as well get these.

Reverse rims shouldn't stick out at all...even if running discs and spacered rear drums.
I've run them on my car with mud & snow tyres and they only stuck out less than an inch I'd say.

Really? That would be great as I may be able to source a set locally.Red Mist wrote:Reverse rims shouldn't stick out at all...even if running discs and spacered rear drums.
