Aparet from the rear panel (window and lights) what other differences are there between a say... 66-ish Mk1 and a Mk2 body? (non-S shells)
I can only think of the hinges for rear side windows, but I am sure there are many other not quite so obvious fearures....?

It depends on the year of the shells you want to compare. Late mk2 shells will have a few mk3 features. But comparing a 66 with a 68 non-S shell, at the moment I can think of the rear window and dash panel (as mentioned), rear quarter windows fixing points depending on the month of the 66 shell if I remember correctly (?), spare wheel bracket base, remote gear lever hole (if the mk2 shell has a remote box), dip switch holes (maybe not present on the mk2 (?)), floor drain holes (?) and the 2 extra welded nuts on the firewall for the binacle (don't know the change point... (?)). Bootlid may be different (double skin on the mk2) and the mk2 may not have the nuts for the rear nipple shrouds (don't know, never checked). Badge holes should be different too.

The clamp was still fitted on MK2 shells, it was deleted at the end of 68 if I'm not mistaken.
