Mini meeting in Essex a la Ace cafe

Hi All. I know a lot of you are from Oop North or NZ but I thought this was worth a mention for those who aren't. There is a Mini Meet taking place at the 8 Ball Diner on the A12 at Rivenhall (between Colchester and Chelmsford) this Saturday from about 4:30. It is the first time this has happened and it seems to be getting a lot of interest. Apparently they did the same thing for the VW mob a couple of weeks ago and it was mobbed. It looks like it is a similar format to the Ace Cafe monthly meet and I know there are going to be some great old Minis there. I think the more people that know the better and that is what will allow it to thrive. Like all these things I think the valuable stuff ie Mk 1s will only come out if the weather is any good. Try to get yourselves down there if you are from the surrounding area.
(I can't promise you will meet Amy or Mark from the programme that put Essex on the map recently) Hope to see some of you there. Cheers. Mark
