1071BOBS New parts

Post by mk1 »

Just a quick note to say that I received some parts from our own 1071bob this morning;

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=38

As usual the quality of everything was absolutely second to none.

Bob has also increased his list of parts that he can supply, amongst which are;

Cooper S solenoid brackets
MK1 Servo Brackets
Correct pattern number plate brackets
Stabilizer brackets
clutch pipe brackets
MK1 dash fitting kits
mk1 binnacles
970 / 1070 top rad brackets
Cooper S lower rad brackets
Clutch arm spring retainer kits
battery clamp
throttle cable support brackets
early oil cooler side plates & brackets
heater air intake gauze mounts
hydro retaining plates
boot board brackets
horn bracket
front slinger bracket
bonnet hinge repair studs in stainless steel
Correct pattern real lamp screws (of all lengths)
stabilizer mount spacer plates
HS2 heat shield kits
extended MK1 binnacles c/w tacho mount

Needless to say all of the above are of superb quality and very reasonably priced too!

I will be adding pictures to the above listing very soon. Bob is a superb source of quality parts that are not available anywhere else.

He also does the two actual brackets. I also intended to post some pictures in the past but never got to it

Ok, it took some time as the stupid photobucket upload crashed a million times but here are a few examples of Bob's skills. The pictures are a bit fussy but you probably get the idea.

Bob has asked me for measurements on the early engine steady bar washer, so I presume he will be doing those as well (soon?)

The famous oild cooler bracket kit

Hydrolastic cross member plates

Mk I/II Servo brackets

The timing cover stiffner with MOWOG stamped in. He has asked me for measurements of the two oval washer types, which I presume he does now too

And he and his friend know how to use crackle paint ;)

Does he do the quick jack plates for the front panel, under the bumper?

These are available from the usual suspects.

Don't you mean the rectangular washers? And those came in two sizes.
