A friend of mine in Norway has posted this on SMF and I thought I'd put it on here as a plea too just to try and help
as some of you might know i bought the BMC mobile training unit bus on ebay a while ago. The bus WAS running, but when it arrived at the docks they couldn't start it. So i now need a mechanic to go and look at it and get it started or they can't get it on board. i will of course pay for any costs/labour. Any tips appreciated, as i don't know anyone in that part of the country.
If anyone can help can they email Jan-Ivar on jan.ivar.sorensen (at) regnskapsbistand.no
Thanks

if its anything like mine is will be easy to fix.
they are big & numb, but very very simple to work on, as long as the engine will crank and the pump timing hasnt altered i should be able to get it going
(hope im not setting my self up for a huge fall here!)

He went to meet it off the boat, jumped in and drove it 240 km home in 2 feet of snow. Apart from running out of diesel it ran perfectly.
