Fantastic archive footage thanks for posting. Spent many Sunday's down at Baitings in the late 70's.
Does anybody know why the sprint finished? Presume it was a Yorkshire water decision on access. I walk down the hill ocasionally and the surface is now well passed it. Shame.

Not totally sure when Baitings finished, last competed there in about 92. I don't think it was still going at the end of the 90s. I remember talking about it with Harry Ratcliffe who thought it was a bit 'Mickey Mouse' just due to al the hairpins, which to be fair it was abit!

Never mind 'Mickey mouse', more 'popeye' when you had a Salsbury Lsd.
