Recently met James Dorlin with Sam Tordoff at Oulton Park testing the Dorlin's A35 pre Goodwood Revival. James Dorlin a young man to watch for the future. He's only seventeen! The St Marys Trophy A35 races should be fantastic racing.

I'll be there with my brother all 3 days, Friday in the general classic car park and Sat/Sun in the Lavant bank parking. Can't wait, second best show of the year, after Blyton of course.

I have everything crossed for the weather, I'm in Worthing this Sunday for the mini show, and it often rains for that, hopefully the Revival weekend will be ok.

That was a nasty crash, we missed it as we where queuing for the little cars, after safely collecting some house points we couldn't understand why they had closed the tunnel.

No minis, so no swifty by the look of it !, as predicted, Sheddon fastest, followed by Jordan and Steve Soper, apparently Neil Browns car which is driven by Sheddon has sat on Browns dyno for the last few weeks, clogging up other work

What an entry list! They are going to be to some races to watch. Where do all these A30/A35's come from. Are people recreating them?

Hopefully my internet connection plays ball tomorrow and Sunday to watch the live streaming of the St Mary's Trophy.

Gutted I'm not able to get to the Revival this year, but looking forward to seeing the action on line.

I'm streaming practice now, A30s coming up soon.

Oil down already and I'm gobsmacked by the spread of talent. Some guys in single seaters are 29 secs a lap off the leaders times. Obviously they must have an important car, and I'm on my sofa, but still.

The Austins are from the HRDC Acadamy Series.

I saw them running at Oulton earlier in the year when they raced against the A-Series Challenge.

HRDC have two more A-Series events to run this year.

I remember when I was 17 years old and the very proud owner of an A35 which had never been raced or rallied! BUT not for long! Happy days and memories.
