Re: 1963 surf blue sdl

Now there's motivation for me right there in those pics, simply stunning

If I can get anywhere near that sort of condition for the one i'm working on i'll be a very happy man. If its possible to have some more pics of the floor/interior that would be very handy.

Also a few questions if thats ok so I can be sure i'm heading in the right direction:

- The fuel filler cap I see is colour coded. Is this normal or should it be chrome?

- Under the door apature I see a cheque plate type covering presumably running the length of the door. Is this still available these days to obtain, if so any ideas where do I look?

- In the same area, does this plate also go over the lower door rubber or is this another type of cover, if so what type of material ?

- In the engine bay. On the engine the water interior heater diverter thingy, is this the standard fitment for the car?
Reason I ask is i've been looking at different pics and there seems to be different styles. For instance the pics of your red one is totally different. Just want to be sure I use the correct unit as I have a feeling the one on my car has been changed but want to be sure I scource the correct unit. If so any idea's on availability these days?

- As yours is an Austin and mine is a Morris, does this mean any of the above would differ (or even anything else on the car apart from badges) ?

Apologies to be a pain but appreciate any help you can provide on the above :)
