Hi everyone,
At the risk of publically admitting I know nothing, I am pondering which side of the floor bracket the handbrake mechanism should be bolted. I have two cars with it bolted on the inside (right side) but my most original car has it on the outside (left). Neither position allows both cables to pull straight. Does anyone know for sure?

Both mine are on the RHS, but both have been out (obviously)

Right hand side is correct.
