Does anyone have a good picture of a bare mk2 bulkhead as mine has had loads of holes drilled in it over the years and I want to fill them all with weld and patches if necessary, I just don't know which ones I have to leave,
This pic shows how many holes are in it,
There is also two holes near the windscreen wiper motor not sure of they are both std
Any help appreciated as once I remove scuttle I will repair this area next

Thanks, looks like most of my holes need filling, it unfortunately was used for some form of motorsport as it had a cage and all lines were inside car and routed through front and rear bulkheads when I had it,
I notice the small hole above the heater duct hole and presume this is for clip on the flasher unit, as my car is early the parts list still shows the larger unit, is this mounted on bulkhead or near the control box like mk1, I don't have original loom so can't really tell.
Looks like you have a good use for those nos inner wings on there, presume you will be fitting a full floor as well from m machine.

Hi Daz , Yes will be using the full inner wings along with a fair few other panels .

. They arrived a few days ago from Spain and look great and will save a lot of work .
This project is way down on my list
Yes the hole is for the Flasher unit .

This is the replacement bulkhead I put in my mk2. It's originally from a mk1 but I used the original bulkhead for reference so it should be right for you as well. The 5 holes circled were also welded up. Hope this helps.

Thanks for pictures they will help a great deal, unfortunately I am well past stage where full bulkhead could be replaced easily, I am lucky that it isn't actually rusty just had loads of holes drilled in it, rear one was same but also very rusty along bottom edge so I replaced that one as was easier.
Only panels I need to purchase now is scuttle, wings and front panel. And possibly door skins.
I also have this tricky area to repair but undecided on easiest way to do this
