1960 Morris Mini 850.
Started the engine after two week lay up outside in the snow and discovered a small blow from the back left corner of the block causing a very small fine spary of oil from the join between the head and block.
Obviously in need of a new gasket but drivable in the mean time or not??
Think I know the answer!!!!

Probably not a good idea! That's the oil feed up to the rocker shaft.

I certainly wouldn't drive it like that. For a start everything will be filthy in no time & secondly (& most important) you will loose all oil in a surprisingly short time.

i would recommend the MONOTORQUE.
one of the best, and it doesn't need re-torquing down

PS i wouldn't even recommend starting the car until its fixed, just too much at risk.

A PAYEN head gasket will be fine for your 850,

Dont be using it!!! As Mark said you will get oil everywhere and just think how much fun that will be when you come to actually change it.. besides engines dont run to well when you empty all the oil out of them!
