Master cylinder

Post by Daz1968 »

I have an early morris mini and am unsure which master cylinder should be on it.
Does anyone know the change point from 0.75 bore to 0.70 bore for morris chassis numbers as mini spares only list change point and austin chassis numbers. Main reason is the rear cylinders also changed and limiter valve and I want to try to get brakes right

Thanks

I have a change point at Chassis No. 296256 / 296257 and 638878 / 638879 - Sorry, I don't know which number refers to which marque. The Early M/C being 0.75", then they went to 0.70". This won't have an effect on the Pressure Valve, only the feel / effort of the Pedal.
