So I have been tearing down my date correct Dynamo and have it broken down to most of the major bits. I have the armature with the bearing end plate still attached, and it wont budge.
I have read about some that have rivets that can be drilled out and the end plate can then be removed.
Mine has no rivets, is there a trick to getting the armature shaft out of the end plate and bearing in order to replace said bearing? I am wary about putting too much pressure on the alloy end plate with a puller....

You need a pair of press plates to support the case while pressing out the shaft although I prefer to knock it out using a brass hammer, pressing it out can be tricky due to the amount of pressure needs to break the bearing off at the start
