Hi
Are mk1 steering column bushes the same as later ones?
I thought they were different but the minispares site lists the column bushes as "up to 1985".
If so I guess GSV1095 and GSV1127 will fit?
Cheers
Simon

don't forget to make sure that the bolt in the bottom is the proper stepped one
really grinds my gears when people bodge them with fully threaded bolts, then wonder why there is play in them!

Until fairly recently, and rather embarrassingly, I was un-aware of
the the technical difference between a "bolt" and a "screw".
As far as I was concerned, they were all "bolts", but sometimes
some of them get referred to as "screws"...
My local fixings supplier had to point out to me that a "screw"
is threaded all the way up to the head, whereas a "bolt" isn't.
I'd bet that some people put "screws" in the front suspension
tie-bars as well...

Or worse the muppet that put the bolt in above the splines and not through the notch
and complained the steering felt vague at times.Bloody lucky the column didn't fall
off the rack

Screw is what you do with a lady if she's happy to play along, Bolt is what you do when her husband comes home.
