   Looking at the state of the under bonnet wiring I don't think it will need water for heating! Better keep it to put the fire out :o

A friend in our club has one in his Mini 95 pickup. It works extremely well and is compact to the point of not taking up any foot room in the cab. If not aware of the change, when you first sit in his pickup, the units size makes you think it is some sort of a small speaker.

Hello... Jemal here, a fire was certainly a possibility before I installed the new alternator conversion complete wiring loom! The loose wires you see in this video were just a tachometer connection made temporarily, and probably a ground for the little heater I'd just installed... They were cleaned up soon after!

I probably know some of you from the Mini Mania forum, and this post was pointed out to me by a friend who recognized my car, so I registered here.... I'll do an introductory post and point you to my youtube channel where I have about 150 videos done over the last few years as I built this Mini, and a variety of other projects.
