Wiper motor inner wing bulge

looking at my early Mini project (59) and my latest project (66) and i have noticed that my early car has no inner wing bulge for the wiper motor and my later 1966 car has 1 bulge .(not 2 bulges like the later MK2 had ) When did this change ?
