Hope somebody can help I have a strait cut close ratio with lsd in a rod change case can this all be transferred to a close ratio four synchro s remote change box as this is in my mk1 at the moment any advice gratefully received

Why not sell the rod change box and buy my SC box in a 22G1128 casing?

You'll need a different reverse gear and depending on what laygear is in the SC Box, you may need an odd ball layshaft, Swiftune do these.

To get the correct reverse gear, you'll need to ID the SC's you have.

Other than that, should swap over no problem.

Just a little OT and thinking about the Reverse Gear, someone should do a replacement Fork for the Remote Box to allow the use of the Rod Shift Reverse Gear, I can't see an issue in that.

Sounds like a nice box, if it's in there, why are you swapping. If you're concerned about originality, what are you doing with a SC box in a mini?
