Quick question,
Should a 64 S have a self parking wiper motor or a 'park it yourself' type motor ?
Also, when was the self parking motor first fitted to an 850 ?
Cheers
Andrew

None of my Mk1 Cooper S's have self parking wipers, and that's right up till the change to Mk2. but these are all South African spec.

I think it is the same for UK cars, all mk1's non-self parking. I have examples of self parking DR3A motors with earlier dates but I am pretty sure they are all from ADO16's.

My first Mini was a 1967 mk1 850 SDL and that had a self parking wiper motor.
Can't say it had never been changed during the life of the car but I was the second owner/keeper.
I got it in 1978 when it was 11 years old. Maroon B with a tan interior.
