Innocenti 1300 / Austin 1300GT conrods

Starting to piece back together a Riley Kestrel 1275 engine (Austin 1300GT etc.) that has been lying in bits in the shed for some years, to go in a MK1 Mini. I have a pool of 8 related con rods from other sources and although they came from working engines as two 'sets' there are detail differences. Is anyone able to shed any light on quite what is what?

Example differences in attached picture.

From the top the loose rods appear to weigh the same and have the same forging number [12G1298/9] but one has more material at the small end and a machined boss at the big end vice the usual rough finish (Similar to STD 1275 rods)

The other two rods illustrated with Hepolite 19010 pistons came from an Innocenti 1300 B39 in Germany and visually are identical apart from the forging numbers which are 12G1298/9 and 12G1289/9. The question is - are these just alternative numbers for the same thing, a freudian slip with the digits when they were forged, or different material ?

Probably just different batches. If they are all balanced the same they should work fine as a set.
