WASO fuel caps missing key

Post by rolesyboy »

Found a lovely Waso fuel cap while clearing through my boxes of Mini crap.
Unfortunately the key is missing! Now determined to fit it to my Cooper. Can anybody suggest a means of obtaining a key or for that matter what the key should look like? It's the 5 sided thing with a hand in the key flap. Managed to remove the barrel so I can see the tumblers. Thanks in advance. Mark

Specialist auto key shops can help.

You can also take it apart, and remove all the locking pegs, so you can "lock/unlock" it with a screwdriver.

I always liked the Waso pentagon shaped petrol caps, I have an original matching pair on my own Mini.
They are still manufactured in Sweden by Waso AB......never understood why no one imports them to the UK today for the classic car market?

Not sure if you can order them direct via the Waso website above, but it is a shame no one in UK imports them anymore as far as I know?
