850 manifold

Hi all, I managed to crack my 64 manifold stripping the engine down. The serial number says 2A89606 is this the only one that will fit? Or can I use a different number with a HS2 carb? On eBay I'm looking at £40+ for a replacement. I'm gutted as I could have bought a complete engine for £50 last year complete with a manifold. Any advice would be much appreciated. Shaun.

I might have a spare manifold somewhere. I'll have a rummage tomorrow.

I've definitely got one if you get stuck.

I found one with the number 2A89607. It is complete, but there is some corrosion on the lower part of 2 of the exhaust flanges which could probably cause sealing issues.
Over to you GS .davies.
I hadn't noticed the "Qualcast" name on these manifolds before.

Cheers all, I would be happy to buy one if you have one spare. Getting the engine back from the rebuild next week. It's finally taking shape.
