Post by madaboutcherry »

I,ve got a dr3a wiper motor and it's decided it doesn't want to park anymore.

It could be the park switch on the motor, the dash switch, or the wiring/connectors. The square motors are expensive so a little bench testing with a schematic is probably in order before looking for a new motor.

The mk2's had DR3A's with park switches. You can see the connection for it on the circular part of the cover. If you slacken the 4 small screws and rotate the circular cover, the wipers will move to a new park position. The contact is on the inside of the cover, so you can easily check if it has carried some contact material over.
