Hey guys.
I as wondering if anyone knows the weight of an English Cooper S?
I am after the official weight or weight of a concourse car and also the source of the info if anyone knows.
The '64 English Cooper S had single tank ,sliding window doors, carpet/underfelt, etc.

640kg or 1,411lb

Where is that information from? Is there an official weight?

It seems a little high as I think our Aus Cooper S' were around 640kg and they had twin tanks, double skinned wind up windows doors.

Hi Ben,

That info came from AKD4061 the red and black coloured bmc workshop manual. The weight of the S was heavier than a std mini but lighter than a hydro car.
