thrown a leak on front right displacer during final road test before collection. very disappointed indeed ;o( although rather now than on the way home!

any advice on changing single units, or whether you should do both front, or both on the same side, or all four?

advice much appreciated!

Just change the leaking displacer. Als long as the others are not leaking, there is no need to change them.

so long

if its the hose connection then they can replace the hose on your existing one

The problem with displacers is you can't really refurbish them. You can replace the hoses but you can't mend perished rubber, or repair corroded internals (if they've been filled with water or stored empty for long periods of time). I'm the same though, I want to keep the hydro cars going as long as possible, but be prepared to invest a bit when looking for good displaces.
