Bits painted body colour?

I am getting ready for my 1963 shell paint job and I'm trying to think of what other brackets and bits need to be painted the same as the body.
Radius arm shrouds
Door check strap plates
Rear number plate hinge brackets?
Bonnet prop, prop clip and bonnet catch
Cardboard blanking plate for the rear bulkhead
Seam seals
Spare wheel clamp
Rest are probably black.
Thanks
Derek

Doors, bonnet and bootlid

think you've got it covered there, don't forget the little Seam strips at the back. I didn't paint the cardboard left it with a bit of age on it. Looked good to me

Are the spare wheel clamps painted ?
All the ones I've seen are in a similar grey finish to the master cylinders.
I'd better have a look and check that out.
Number plate hinge brackets are normally black.
Its only the outer check strap plates that are body colour. The inner thicker ones that go round the door seals are black.
Other than that, your list sounds OK to me.

Hinges! Boot, bonnet and door. I don't think the number plate hinges are painted. Certainty aren't on a mk2

the wheel clamp is painted body colour as well
the cardboard is not painted, I'm sure about it, but everybody paints it! an error..

Are you sure about the cardboard? Mine was in red with what appeared to be a chalked number on it in like a yellow colour, similar to the one on the underside folder over of the rear squab

what about the metal female plate that bolts to the door jamb? The wedge shaped plate that holds the nylon block.

Few more questions;
Is the bonnet latch painted body colour? (just the curved piece behind the grille you open the bonnet with)
Is the bonnet plate on the front panel painted body colour (the plate that the bonnet pin goes into)
The paint shop were asking about the screws that hold the boot lid brackets to the body. Obviously, I'd like them painted but how do people recommend? The painter was suggesting I brush painted them once I'd fitted the boot lid as he was frightened the paint would crack off if I screwed them on after painting.
Cheers

I painted my bootlid hinge screws and just held them with screwdriver and tightened nut inside with socket when fitting and had no problems. Pretty sure my bonnet plate and bolts on slam panel were body colour originally,

This is what I do on with resprayd Minis at work, never had a problem yet. If you're really worried a small section of a Mini Spares parts bag over the end of the screw driver gives you a little more protection.
The bonnet catch is body colour and where painted while bolted to the body originally.

I've seen Cherry Red ones on an early Cherry Red Mk1 (one that didn't make it into restoration but yielded many spares for my Mk1).
Whether it was correct is another thing

Definitely, the early cars...59-61 had painted demister tubes...I have a grey 61 mini here with matching color tubes.
Bill over at the 59 registry would have more information on these.
