Does anyone know if the significance of these dimples and are radiators of this type fitted to any specific car?

PS Rad looks like it is a 3-Core

They are simply there to help support the inner end of the neck when it is soldered in. I don't know anything about that style of radiator though.

You could call Colchester radiator services and ask them. They are very knowledgable about the nuances of radiators.
