Hydro bumpstops

So they should be fitted with the cone bit at the top and the small hole at the bottom.

There is clearly an art to this. Any ideas, boiling water and fairy is nowhere even close..

Ive used back to black panel spray. It has a silicon content.

Will they then twist in by hand or is it brackets off the car and vice / press time?

You referring to Competition ones?

The Small Hole goes over the steel knob. I use rubber grease to get them on, no issues. I think you'd have a hell of a time trying it dry.

Used silicon spray and popped them straight on. Astonishing stuff. Cheers guys

I ended up adding a nylon plug down the hole to add some more resistance to the front bump stops. The car is almost on the bump stops sitting free.
