Swiftune distributor

I'm fitting a Swiftune dsi , and wondered if the white and black wire from the wiring loom needs to be left on the coil or not . Swiftune insructions says fit red from dsi to + black to - . I think this makes the white and black from the loom redundant ?...Nick

... white/black also will feed your tacho!

The white/black between the distributor and the coil will be redundant,
but if you have a tacho, the white/black that parallels with the coil -
still needs to be present.
