ID old motor

Post by olddad »

Been so long I don't know which goes to what. Too much stuff.

Block casting 2A944
Head casting 2A629
Trans casting 22A104

Does anyone know what this came from?

Jim, The head is an early 850 one without a hole for a temp gauge. The gearbox is early 3 synchro with cones rather than baulk rings. I'm guessing the block is thin flange early 850 too.

Thanks Nick.

Also still need that steering wheel hub and a pair of draft excluders. Found the pair for the '65 in the box of stuff from the PO but have none for the '59.
