Carb studs for Speedwell inlets? Pics

Hi all, just got my Speedwell inlets and HS2 bodies back from vapour blasting and am beginning to think about re-assembly - just wondering how the carbs connect to the Speedwell inlets? The stud holes on the inlets are threaded but far smaller than the ones on the carbs, are there special studs I need to look for? See pics below for those not familiar with the Speedwell inlets: Im also wondering if my inlets are very early ones? All the others Ive seen have a flatter, broader "S" logo.

You are right the bolts are smaller than the hole . My set has the genuine bolts. They are a bit strange, head is more than 1/2" but less than a 9/16"

Thanks very much for the pics - so are they simply straight bolts of the Speedwell inlet hole size, not stepped to fit the carb mount holes? I have a number of spacers and vacuum takeoffs on my setup not pictured, so my bolts would have to be rather longer.
