1965 smoke grey

Hi
Thought I'd get my project on here so I could ask lots of silly questions about how to put it back together. Apparently it was dry stored for 33 years and therefore received an age related plate. Originally I think it was an automatic 850 in island blue. I got it about 5 years ago and it had a 60's cooper engine in on a 40 Webber mounted on a C&T manifold. You could see the flames under acceleration from the gap next to the speedo! It had rust in the rear pockets but no where else. It had a dummy right hand tank, the hydro right down low and, cooper s brakes and dodgy clubman seat with modern harness's. It also came with the original 3 point belts in half decent condition, the original twins on standard manifold and a long derrington Webber manifold and 100+ with 032's.
A couple of years ago I shipped it over too Cooperman on the IOW who replaced the front panel, A panel and part of the front floor and painted it smoke grey.
I've been part collecting since then and want to create a Sunday racer themed mini cooper replica. Anyhow, Ill (try) post up some pics.
