So, i came to fit my throttle pedal on my "60" , It dosn't fit, the bit where the cable goes through is a long way off !, as some of the bits that came with the car where in boxes i'm not sure its the right one, is there different pedals through out the years ?

i'll try to upload a pic tonight

Not sure how you ended up with that gas pedal....it is a LHD pedal!
Here are two pics. of a RHD and a LHD pedal.
Top is a RHD and bottom is LHD

Might be uncomfortable, but one could sit on the handbrake straddling the shifter and use it as is with the left foot.

Actually, there may be some looking for the RHD pedal for a conversion.
