Anyone know what number follows 'AUD' on 1071 S carb tags (R & L).

AUD99L and AUD99R

Went there...cannot find a tag reference ...when you click to order...it asks for the tag specification number...where in the heck do they hide it??????

Thankya thankya thankya Toby...that is exactly what I needed...
When I dismantled the 1071 and the 970 I (like an idiot) put the twin setups on the shelf with all the others...ws thinking there is a difference in the tags.

By the way, I have a twin su setup here with AUD318 R and L...any ideas as to what they came off????

The AUD318 set up would have been fitted to either a VanDen Plas 1300, Wolseley 1300, MG 1300 or a Riley 1300

AUD 324 are from the 998 Innocenti Cooper
AUD 534 are from 1275 Innocenti Cooper

I ordered some new SU tags from Burlen...they arrived today. I am extremely disappointed with these tags. They are right shape but the stamping is so tiny you need a magnifying glass to read them. Nothing like the originals..other than the shape.
Is there another supplier who actually stamps these as the originals.
I see Somerford have them...anyone bought some from them???

You're not the only one who feels that way - I ordered one for my 64 SDL, and… well, I wasn't too impressed to say the least. Might as well track an original one down, even if it is a fiddly little thing to find…

I don't get it...I ordered a couple of new tags for the fuel pumps as well...guess what! The stamping is the correct size on those tags....so, why in the heck can they not do the same on the carb tags. These are useless.....look like some crap that a back yard gnome would do

I purchased two tags, AUD 146 R and L, from Somerford a few years ago and the the size of the stamping on the tags was quite small--not like the original size.
Quite disappointing!! Maybe they have improved. Maybe best to call and ask??
I would like to find and purchase a set of original tags for my 65 Cooper S.

For info, the listing of the AUD carb tag numbers can be found in Burlen's 'SU Reference Catalogue' which has most of the ones for classic Mini (and all other vehicles).

It used to be on their website...guess they want you to buy the book now.

Anyone making/selling carb ID tags? I've seen the tags by Somerford, but the font is tiny. Looking for something more like the original.
