Could anyone please tell me the best way to remove the inside door trim (I think you refer to them as "cards")? I have a very nice set of brocade door panels/cards that I need to remove before work starts on some doors and I don't see an easy way to get them out without tearing things up.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Inside door panel/card removal
It has been a while since I have done this and I think everyone has their own method so expect people to post different steps than I do.
What I remember doing was removing the card stock that wraps around the bottom/inside of the door pocket. Then remove the vertical filler pieces so the door card is unobstructed. I also think I removed the door locks. Use your fingers to reach up under the top edge of the door (below the sliding window channel) and hook the top of the door card. Bow the card in slightly towards the passenger compartment as you push down. Apply the bowing force over as much area as possible and pull inwards until you can get an entire arm behind the card. Continue bowing while pushing down. Again.... spread the force over as large an area as possible. The top edge of the card should eventually be deflected down and in enough to be free on the vertical edges so you can pull the card up and out of the door.
