i have a mini sport LCB exhaust manifold which i fitted in 1987, and it only covered a couple of hundred miles before going into retirement. there is still silver paint on the manifold so its being refitted.
any recommendations for a replacement exhaust system? crimped box systems are very dear by comparison. any experience of the RC40 system.....?
as usual, your highly valued and experienced opinions are both welcome and appreciated. many thanks.

...think this ones been covered many times.. for me nothing beats the quality and longevity of systems made by Maniflow.. I have only ever tried one other that was crap.. in 15 years I have had 2 of their quality systems.. currently using Maniflow 2.. ...u pays yer money and takes yer choice.. foxy52

With a couple of exceptions, I have never used anything but RC40's & have always been pleased with both the quality & price. Maniflow are good, but can be very noisy by comparison.

just spoke to maniflow and the chap reckoned that my LCB manifold is likely to be a Janspeed one, which does ring a bell........ I have the mini sport receipt from 1987 but it doesn't list the make.
so...... RC40 or maniflow........
i fancy a bit of a roar..........

Single box rc40 for me. Mostly sensible with a bit of bite when you get going
