Thought this might be of interest to those who are restoring or thinking of buying a GT.

I scanned it from the August 1976 edition of AKM 0031, Mini Range October 1969 On Part Catalogue. It shows what colour stripes, trim and carpets go with which exterior paint colour. I have seen pictures of possible original cars were the stripes are not as this list, so I guess, maybe, a buyer could ask the supplying dealer to fit their own personal choice.





Obviously this list does not cover cars built after October 1976. If anyone has access to a later catalogue or the microfische from 1980 please feel free to add any info.

I honestly didn't know they did so many colours.

I don't think I've seen half of those colours on GT's.

As black was a special order colour I guess it was a case of any colour you like.

Here are four individual door sets that i have had since the early 70s in red, Red was only used on the white 1275 i think , Why i have just the doors i don't know , It says on the film Scotchcal, with a dot above the a , maybe German , 3M Minnesota mining and manufacturing co.

Also used on Black Tulip when fitted with the Geranium (Red) interior.

There's three reds. Glacier has Flame and Falme.
The parts book this comes from has lots of errors and typos. My guess is someone forgot to put Flame in the description as there is only a part number for Flame Red.

Can someone tell me what height the GT stripes are meant to be on the side of the car?

I've seen original cars with the heights varying.
