A guy on ausmini has a how-to guide. It could be tricky without the right tools to get the bushes drilled and aligned perfectly.

when this guy did the carbs on marks mini sprint, he 'reconditioned' them by spraying the alloy bodies with a silver spray paint..............

If these are HS series carbs and they do not need re-bushing, all you really need are a good set of instructions and the rebuild kits available from a parts supplier. The bulk of what is involved is cleaning and blowing things out. If you want to polish the outer surfaces while they are apart, that will be what takes the most time and effort.
