Gents,
Does anyone have any measurements for drilling to boot to fit the mini minor badge on my 61?
Thanks!
Lewis

I put an "Austin Mini" badge on my 1993...
I can't help with the official dimensional positioning,
but here's the method I used to do the job:
I got a piece of cardboard, cornflake packet probably.
I then pushed the three spikes through the card and then
drew round the edge of the writing with a pencil.
I then cut this out with scissors and aimed it up on the
boot-lid by trial-and-error and measuring. Each time, I
stuck it down with masking tape, then stepped back a few
paces and checked it out.
When I was happy, I got my carbide tipped scriber and
marked the paintwork through the holes that were made
by the spikes.
I didn't centre punch the lid, I just used a very small bit
in a hand drill to put a pilot hole through. Next, I drilled
the holes out to just very slightly larger than the spikes.
This way I could check/adjust the alignment of the holes
with those in the badge itself. Once happy with the
alignment I drilled out to the full size required to take
those plastic retaining slugs.
If you do this, make sure that you don't put the template
on upside-down/inside-out/back-to-front etc. I am not
sure if the pins are symetrical...
Also, don't forget to put some paint on the edges of the
holes.
Good Luck!
Ian

The holes for the "mouse johnnies" for the Morris "Mini-Minor" badge are 17cm down from the top edge

ian makes some good points, but its also worth only drilling the holes for the badge you are using.
the pins do tend to move around on the badges and ive been caught out by using an old badge as a template and having to unleash a load of swears when trying to fit a new one
