Hydrolastic displacer units

Hi,
I've just tried to pump up my hydrolastic suspension on my 1966 850 Morris mk1. All was going well, one side looks pretty good and settled at recommended height (from wheel arch to wheel hub centre). Then came the driver's side; back end started lifting, but front wouldn't move.
Pumped it up, and still didn't go on the front end. Depressurised it and then tried again. Still didn't budge at the front, continued to pump till the back end was just at the correct height, when there was a pop. There doesn't seem to be a massive loss of fluid, but a few splashes around the front subframe and then a pool appeared. Can't exactly work out where it is coming from, and think it is from the displacer taht popped.
Has anyone got any experience or knowledge of this? Also, is there anywhere that sells reconned units or second hand units?
Many thanks,
Joel
