Silly Early Chassis Number Question

I believe chassis numbers started at 101 for Austin and Morris. Am I correct in thinking that a Mini with the chassis number ending in 10144 would have been the 143rd off that particular production line or am I thick?

Thanks guys I thought it was a later one going by the floor pans but it never hurt to be optimistic.

Bill have you got any idea of how many Austins were made in '59?

About 10500 ish and a few less Morris's.

Floors should be Oct 59-Oct 60 type.
