strange 940 head casting

Has anyone seen this type head casting. 12g940 is cast in the head behind the thermostat housing.

I think these would be the South African blocks, happy to be corrected on this. They were de-stroked 1275's but had a few other detailed changes too.ricardo wrote:What about the 940 small valve casting which looks like the AEG163?
