No Minis this year, it's all 50's stuff in the St Mary's but the Fordwater Trophy for tidler GTs is back , I wonder if there's any Mini deviants competing?
Meanwhile Swiftune's crack at the St Mary's Trophy has been unveiled...
Celeb runners and riders includes The Chef in a Ford Pop!
Disgraceful!

OOFT! that A40 is great!
I'm giving it a miss this year (for only the 2nd time) and having seen that there is to be a lifesized replica of Stonehenge for some reason.......
And yet another 'one make' race, albeit for D type Jaguars, mean I think I picked the right year to miss.

Just two out of the three for me, no Mini's racing but I'm sure the Classic car park will have a good selection

I'm going down Friday and Sunday - got the mk1 into the Classic car park as well - just need to get it ready tonight!
If you are going on Saturday, depending on what time and where you are travelling from, the Tour of Britain is down that way so might be worth checking the road closures out...

Wish I was going, just can't do everything. Looks like I'll be watching bits on Youtube which streams the event live.

For those with Sky TV the Revival has been on Motors TV (Channel 447). The programmes will be repeated over the next few weeks. There was some great saloon car action in both the St Marys Trophy and the Shelby Cup (V8 Race), and a couple of expensive mishaps in the TT.

All the races I watched looked very close at the front, especially the 2nd saloon race! Some great scraps! Well done to Andy Middlehurst aswell on yet another victory in the Lotus (F1), his dad was a great Mini racer in his day and Andy's just restored a Mk1 S (which will be at the Footman James show in Manchester next weekend!)

Shame there weren't any other Mini engine'd slippys to give those Ginettas a run for their money, I'm surprised Swifty didn't have an entry in something? (like the DART)
