I think its wishfull thinking to be honest

'speedwell' was a London telephone exchange which covered golders green - and which is where Speedwell got its name from

the radiator company has just used 'speedwell 8921' as its their phone number, where as nowadays they would have used 020 (or what ever it is) 8921

Granville road is only about 1/2 mile from Finchley road, so its probable that if Speedwell had any radiators repaired they would have taken them to this company to have them done

OK, I've been away

But as a little consolation prize for myself. Did you know that the "Speedwell Company" didn't start off doing tuning at all. It was a sticker manufacturer & graphic design studio run & owned by John Sprinzell.

Have I redeemed myself now?
