Piston rings for Omega pistons

Post by PaulH »

Hi lads,
Hoping you guys might be able to point me in the right direction. I have a set of cast omega pistons they are of the 74mm verity. I have contacted MED and Omega them selves to get a set of rings but no luck. They are quite old and have a 1.2mm top ring and a 1.2mm second ring with a 4mm compression ring. The casting no is OP110.

If anyone has a set for sale or knows where one could purchase a set I would be very much obliged,
Kind regards,
Paul

Try F W Thorntons, Shrewsbury.

JPs will make anything you need, not only in size but also ring face types. They also have quite a huge variety on the shelf;-

Jesues Thanks a Million lads thats awesome information, I will get on those leeds straight away. I knew of total seal but the cost of the rings, shipping and import duty here was more than the pistons are worth. I had completely forgot about FW Thorntans they sorted me out about 5 years ago with rings for a very early 850.

Thanks lads gota love this Forum,
regards,
Paul.
