It's worth whatever it's worth to a buyer. Personally if I was gonna sink so much time and effort into creating a sprinted van I'd have started with a van in the first place instead of an internal hinge (clubman) estate. If that was an actual sprinted van I think it'd fetch it's money.

Because it started as a late Clubman estate.GraemeC wrote:What are the seats in that 'van'?
It's another case of someone advertising a car for what it's cost them rather than what it's worth.

Eh? I meant the front seats - I like them but don't recognise them. I don't think they're the Cobra Classics he claims.Tupers wrote:Because it started as a late Clubman estate.GraemeC wrote:What are the seats in that 'van'?

They have the look of a vintage car seat not a classic car seat. Old vintage car seats were pretty popular with early Mini racers as a cheaper option to a Restall , Microcell etc.

Re: WTH??!?! Have you seen this item on ebay.
Is it my eyes, or is that front door in the picture another colour ?
I asked this before somewhere and was informed that the door was probably painted at a different angle to the car so laid differently, therefore looking as though its a different colour.
I think its a nice conversion. I wish i had the skill to do a conversion like it. I agree starting with a van would have been sensible but its great skill

£255 for an incomplete set of workshop posters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is absolutely mind blowing!!!!!!!!!!
You can still pick these up for around £10 each, at the most.
